Only twenty (20) participants accepted for this course. Course
usually fills up 60-90-days prior to offering. This 3-day program is designed
to introduce participants to the basic functions of computers, using PC
applications. The course will cover basic word processing skills such as
copying, transferring, moving and editing files. Useful and educational
applications will include accessing and utilizing medical databases such as
PubMed. You will learn how to use the Internet for medical research and World
Wide Web applications. Use of PowerPoint, spreadsheets, databases and desktop
publishing will also be provided.
